In a gesture of camaraderie and appreciation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to extend heartfelt birthday wishes to JP Nadda, the 11th President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The Prime Minister’s message not only acknowledged Nadda’s significant role within the party but also praised his organizational prowess and enduring dedication to public service.
PM Modi remarked, “He has made a mark for his skills. His simple and warmhearted nature has endeared him to several people.” This sentiment encapsulates the essence of JP Nadda’s leadership style, characterized by a down-to-earth demeanor that resonates with both party members and the public.
“The Prime Minister, reflecting on Nadda’s decades-long journey in politics, stated, “I have seen him work hard for the party over the last several decades. He has also distinguished himself as a very good MLA, MP, and Minister.” This acknowledgment underscores Nadda’s multifaceted contributions to the political landscape, from his early days as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Himachal Pradesh to serving as the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare in the 1st Modi ministry”.
JP Nadda’s political journey is indeed noteworthy. Born on December 2, 1960, in Patna, Bihar, he emerged from a family with roots in Himachal Pradesh. Educated at St. Xavier’s School, Patna, Nadda pursued his B.A. from Patna College, Patna University, and LL.B. from the Faculty of Law, (HP) Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
“Beyond academics, Nadda showcased his athletic prowess in his early years, representing Bihar in the All India Junior Swimming Championship held in Delhi. His commitment to excellence transcended into his personal life as well. He married Mallika Nadda on December 11, 1991, and the couple is blessed with two sons”.
Notably, JP Nadda’s family has a political legacy, with his mother-in-law, Jayashree Banerjee, being elected to the Lok Sabha in 1999, adding another dimension to his connection with public service.
As JP Nadda celebrates another year of life, the Prime Minister’s wishes echo the sentiments of many within the BJP and the broader political landscape. The acknowledgment of Nadda’s hard work, dedication, and multifaceted contributions underlines the significance of his leadership within the party and the nation.
