On the 22nd of April Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Lord Parshuram Jayanti, one of the most significant festivals in Hindu mythology. He offered a prayer that Lord Parshuram’s blessings may fill everyone’s life with courage, learning, and discretion.
Lord Parshuram Jayanti and its Significance
Lord Parshuram is one of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu, who is revered in Hinduism. Lord Parshuram Jayanti is observed annually on the third day of the bright fortnight of the Hindu month of Vaishakh. It is believed that Lord Parshuram was born on this day, and his life and teachings are celebrated on this occasion. Lord Parshuram is considered the epitome of courage, righteousness, and selflessness, and his teachings continue to inspire people across the world.
