PM Modi extended gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality extended to him during his visit to Bhutan. He expressed honor for the special gesture of His Majesty the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, who personally greeted him at the airport as he departed for Delhi.
Reflecting on the significance of his visit, PM Modi remarked on the opportunity to engage with His Majesty the King, Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, and other esteemed leaders of Bhutan. He emphasized that the discussions held during the visit would further invigorate the strong bond of friendship between India and Bhutan.
PM Modi also expressed appreciation for being conferred the prestigious Order of the Druk Gyalpo, Bhutan’s highest civilian honor, acknowledging it as a symbol of the deep-rooted relationship between the two nations.
Expressing gratitude towards the people of Bhutan, PM Modi affirmed India’s commitment to being a steadfast friend and partner to Bhutan. He emphasized that India would continue to stand by Bhutan, offering unwavering support and cooperation.
The visit further solidified the close ties between India and Bhutan, reaffirming the enduring friendship and cooperation that exists between the two neighboring countries. PM Modi’s expressions of gratitude and commitment underscore the importance of nurturing and strengthening the bond between India and Bhutan for the mutual benefit and prosperity of both nations.
