Prime Minister Narendra Modi played an integral role in the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol at the newly-built Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Following the ceremony, on Monday evening, the Prime Minister himself lit the ‘Ram Jyoti,’ earthen lamps, in a symbolic act of inviting the divine presence of Lord Ram into the hearts and homes of citizens.
CITIZENS URGED TO WELCOME LORD RAM
In a heartfelt message on social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi extended a warm invitation to citizens across the nation. He urged them to light the ‘Ram Jyoti’ on this auspicious occasion, symbolizing the welcome of Lord Ram into their homes. The Prime Minister’s appeal resonated with the spirit of unity and devotion, with a resounding “Jai Siya Ram!”
PM MODI CELEBRATES ‘MINI DIWALI’
Returning to Delhi from Ayodhya, Prime Minister Modi celebrated a symbolic ‘mini Diwali’ at his residence. The Prime Minister, in a gesture that echoed the joyous festival of lights, lit earthen lamps at his residence and shared the uplifting moment on X with the caption “Ram Jyoti.”

Capturing the essence of the occasion, PM Modi shared photos of lighting the ‘Ram Jyoti’ in front of a photograph of the Ram statue from the Ayodhya temple. This symbolic act at his official residence, Lok Kalyan Marg, marked the convergence of spirituality and leadership in a celebration that holds deep cultural significance for the nation.
