PM Modi Inaugurates 91 FM Radio Transmitters to Benefit Border and Aspirational Districts.

On the 28th of April Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 91 FM radio transmitters to benefit border and aspirational districts in India. This initiative will improve access to information and programs for people living in remote areas, ensuring that they are not left behind in the country’s development process.

“The FM radio transmitters will provide a platform for people in border and aspirational districts to stay informed and updated about important developments in various fields. It will also enable them to make informed decisions and take advantage of the opportunities provided by the government”.

This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to promote rural development and bridge the digital divide in the country. It is aimed at ensuring that people in remote areas have access to important information and programs, which can help to improve their lives and livelihoods.

”The 91 FM radio transmitters have been installed in various border and aspirational districts in India, including Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, and Bihar, among others. These transmitters will cover remote and difficult-to-access areas, where traditional media may not be able to reach”.
