Gujarat: PM Modi addressed the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Gujarat’ program, marking the inauguration of more than 1.3 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and other housing schemes in Gujarat. He interacted with beneficiaries, stressing the significance of homeownership for a bright future.
“Commending Gujarat’s progress, PM Modi underscored the state’s pivotal role in India’s development journey. He praised initiatives like Vibrant Gujarat, emphasizing its contribution to economic growth and investment promotion”.
PM Modi highlighted the government’s commitment to providing quality housing for every citizen, with over 1.25 lakh homes’ groundbreaking today. He hailed this as the ‘Modi ki Guarantee,’ ensuring the fulfillment of promises made to the people.
Acknowledging the large-scale participation in the program across 180 locations in Gujarat, PM Modi expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support. He lauded initiatives like Per Drop More Crop and drip irrigation, enhancing agricultural productivity and livelihoods. “Discussing Gujarat’s tourism potential, the PM highlighted attractions like Vadnagar’s ancient artifacts and North Gujarat’s emerging tourist hubs. He emphasized the government’s efforts to boost tourism infrastructure and promote cultural heritage”.
PM Modi reiterated the success of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in engaging millions across India. He applauded Gujarat’s role in poverty alleviation and scheme implementation, empowering marginalized communities.
Asserting a vision for ‘Viksit Bharat,’ PM Modi likened the current era to historic movements for freedom. He emphasized Gujarat’s pivotal role in national development and empowerment initiatives.
PM Modi highlighted Gujarat’s achievements in housing projects, leveraging technology for rapid construction. He emphasized direct benefit transfers, eliminating middlemen, and ensuring transparency. “Empowering youth, farmers, women, and the poor remains a cornerstone of Viksit Bharat. PM Modi pledged support for entrepreneurship and inclusive growth, empowering every community”.
PM reiterated efforts to reduce the cost of living for the poor and middle class. He outlined initiatives like free ration, affordable healthcare, and renewable energy schemes, ensuring sustainable development. Gujarat’s industrial growth and youth’s potential were lauded by PM Modi, assuring continued government support. He affirmed a commitment to propel Gujarat to new heights across sectors.
