In an unprecedented move aimed at propelling India’s economic growth and fostering regional development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for an array of transformative projects spanning the oil and gas sector and various other domains. Among the highlights were projects worth nearly Rs 1.50 lakh crore, signifying a significant stride towards realizing the vision of a prosperous and self-reliant India.
“Addressing a mammoth gathering in Begusarai, Bihar, Prime Minister Modi articulated his unwavering commitment to catalyzing Bihar’s development under the ambit of ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India). He extolled the rich legacy of Begusarai, hailing its talented youth and pivotal role in bolstering the nation’s agricultural and industrial sectors. The Prime Minister’s presence in Bihar underscored a paradigm shift, symbolizing the decentralization of developmental agendas from the corridors of Delhi to the heartland of India”.
With projects encompassing petroleum, fertilizers, and railways, the Prime Minister underscored their pivotal role in fueling economic growth, generating employment opportunities, and enhancing connectivity. Noteworthy among these initiatives was the expansion of the Barauni Refinery, a monumental endeavor poised to inject fresh momentum into Bihar’s industrial landscape and bolster India’s self-reliance in energy production.
Prime Minister Modi’s emphasis on the holistic development of Bihar resonated with his government’s overarching vision of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas’ (Development for all). He reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to propelling Bihar towards progress, transforming it into a beacon of development and prosperity.
The Prime Minister’s address also underscored the imperative of social justice, emphasizing empowerment through tangible outcomes rather than mere rhetoric. He spotlighted initiatives aimed at empowering marginalized sections of society, including women, farmers, and backward communities, underscoring his government’s proactive approach toward inclusive development.
“Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi’s unveiling of ‘Bharat Pashudhan’ and the ‘1962 Farmers App’ exemplified the government’s thrust on leveraging technology for agricultural advancement and livestock management, ultimately enhancing farmers’ livelihoods and bolstering food security”.
The presence of dignitaries including the Governor of Bihar, Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, and Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Puri, underscored the collective resolve towards realizing the shared vision of a prosperous and vibrant India.
