Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced that the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway would be dedicated to the nation from Mandya on 12th March. He also revealed that the foundation stone for the Mysuru-Kushalnagar highway would be laid on the same day.
Moreover, the foundation stone for the Mysuru-Kushalnagar highway will also be laid on the same day. This highway will be a four-lane road that will connect Mysuru to Kushalnagar in Kodagu district, a popular tourist destination. The project is expected to be completed at a cost of around Rs 1,350 crore and will have a length of around 100 kilometers.
The Mysuru-Kushalnagar highway will be a crucial project for the region as it will not only provide a faster and safer mode of transportation but will also improve connectivity to the tourist places of Kodagu district. This, in turn, will boost the socio-economic growth of the region by promoting tourism and facilitating the movement of goods and services.
PM Modi’s announcement of the dedication of the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway and the laying of the foundation stone for the Mysuru-Kushalnagar highway is a significant step towards improving the connectivity and infrastructure in the state of Karnataka. The projects are expected to provide better connectivity, reduce travel time, and boost the socio-economic growth of the region. It will also lead to better opportunities for the people of the region and contribute to the overall development of the state.
