PM Modi’s 7-8th July 2023 Visit: A Tour of Development and Progress

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to embark on a visit to four states on the 7th and 8th of July 2023. His itinerary includes visits to Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Rajasthan.

On 7th July, the Prime Minister will commence his visit by laying the foundation stone for various development projects during a public program in Raipur at approximately 10:45 AM. In the afternoon, around 2:30 PM, he will arrive in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, to take part in the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Gita Press Gorakhpur. Additionally, he will flag off Vande Bharat trains at Gorakhpur Railway Station. In the evening, around 5 PM, the Prime Minister will arrive in Varanasi, where he will attend a public program. During this event, he will lay the foundation stone, inaugurate, and dedicate multiple development projects to the nation.

On 8th July, the Prime Minister’s schedule includes reaching Warangal, Telangana, at approximately 10:45 AM, where he will attend a public program and lay the foundation stone for various projects. Later in the day, around 4:15 PM, he will arrive in Bikaner, Rajasthan, to lay the foundation stone and dedicate multiple development projects to the nation.

This visit by the Prime Minister underscores the government’s commitment to advancing development and infrastructure across these states. It provides an opportunity to inaugurate key initiatives, lay foundation stones for new projects, and engage with the local communities to promote progress and growth in these regions.

PM in Raipur – Boosting Infrastructure and Connectivity in Chhattisgarh

In Raipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate and lay the foundation stones for five National Highway projects worth approximately Rs. 6,400 crores. These projects include the expansion of crucial sections on the Jabalpur-Jagdalpur National Highway, facilitating better connectivity for steel plants, promoting tourism, and bolstering the transportation of raw goods.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stones for three National Highway projects that will benefit the Chhattisgarh section of the Raipur-Visakhapatnam corridor. Notably, these projects will incorporate a 2.8 km long 6-lane tunnel with wildlife passages, contributing to unrestricted wildlife movement in the Udanti Wildlife Sanctuary area. The initiatives will enhance connectivity to vital industries, such as rice mills and bauxite-rich areas while fostering socio-economic development in the region.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the doubling of the Raipur-Khariar Road Rail Line, easing transportation of coal, steel, and fertilizers from ports to industries in Chhattisgarh. The Prime Minister will also dedicate a bottling plant by the Indian Oil Corporation and initiate the distribution of Ayushman Bharat cards, benefiting numerous beneficiaries in the region.

PM in Gorakhpur and Varanasi – Strengthening Connectivity and Development in Uttar Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will join the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Gita Press Gorakhpur, a renowned printing press, in Gorakhpur. He will also flag off two Vande Bharat trains, improving connectivity and socio-economic development in the region.

In Varanasi, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for multiple development projects valued at over Rs. 12,100 crores. These initiatives encompass railway lines, road networks, educational facilities, sewer lines, and rural drinking water schemes. The projects aim to enhance connectivity, promote tourism, provide quality education, ensure better sanitation, and improve the overall living standards of the people in Varanasi.

Prime Minister Modi will also dedicate the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction – Son Nagar railway line of the Dedicated Freight Corridor, which will facilitate the faster and more efficient movement of goods. The completion of railway line electrification and doubling in Uttar Pradesh will mark significant milestones in enhancing rail connectivity in the state.

Moreover, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the redesigning and redevelopment of Manikarnika and Harishchandra Ghats, transforming them into modern and environmentally friendly spaces for various activities. Additionally, he will launch the distribution of loans, keys, and Ayushman Bharat cards to beneficiaries, ensuring the welfare and empowerment of the people.

PM in Warangal and Bikaner – Accelerating Development and Connectivity

On the 8th of July, Prime Minister Modi will proceed to Warangal, Telangana, to attend a public program. During this event, he will lay the foundation stones for various infrastructure projects valued at approximately Rs. 6,100 crore. These projects aim to enhance connectivity and spur economic development in the region.

Following his visit to Warangal, the Prime Minister will travel to Bikaner, Rajasthan, where he will dedicate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth over Rs. 24,300 crores. Notable projects include the six-lane greenfield expressway section of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor, the Inter-State Transmission Line for the Green Energy Corridor, and the redevelopment of the Bikaner Railway Station.
