On the 3rd of February PM Modi condoles the demise of K. Vishwanath Garu. He was a stalwart of cinema, distinguishing himself as a creative and versatile director. His films covered a variety of genres and enthralled audiences for decades. Condolences to his family and fans.
Kasinadhuni Viswanath, popularly known as Shri K. Viswanath, was a legendary Indian filmmaker who made a significant contribution to Indian cinema. He was born on 19 February 1930 and passed away on 2 February 2023.
Shri K. Viswanath was a prolific filmmaker who directed numerous films in a career that spanned several decades. He was known for his exceptional storytelling skills and his ability to bring complex characters to life on the big screen. His films were known for their strong messages, deep emotional content, and their ability to connect with audiences from all walks of life.
Shri K. Viswanath was a master of several film genres, including drama, comedy, and romance. He won several awards for his films, including the National Film Award for Best Feature Film, and his work was widely recognized and appreciated by audiences and critics alike.

On the sad occasion of his demise, Prime Minister Modi expressed his condolences and paid tribute to Shri K. Viswanath’s contributions to Indian cinema. The Prime Minister stated that Shri K. Viswanath was a true legend in the film industry, and his films would always be remembered as classics.
Shri K. Viswanath was a great filmmaker, storyteller, and inspiration to all who knew him. On this sad occasion, let us all remember his contributions and pay tribute to his legacy.
