On the 2nd of March Praful Patel, the Administrator of the Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu and Lakshadweep recently called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. The meeting was significant as it provided an opportunity for Patel to discuss the development projects and initiatives being undertaken in the union territories under his administration.
During the meeting, Patel briefed the President on the progress made in various sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, tourism, and other developmental areas. He also highlighted the challenges faced by the union territories and the measures taken to overcome them.
The Administrator informed the President about the various initiatives being taken to promote tourism in the union territories, which have enormous potential for the growth of the hospitality sector. Patel also discussed the efforts being made to improve healthcare facilities, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The meeting was also an occasion for Patel to express his gratitude to the President for her support in the development of the union territories. He praised her for her vision and leadership and acknowledged her efforts in promoting the welfare of the people of India.
Patel has been working tirelessly to develop and improve the quality of life in the union territories under his administration. He has been instrumental in introducing various schemes and programs to boost infrastructure, education, healthcare, and tourism in the region.
Under his leadership, the union territories have witnessed significant progress and development, with the implementation of several projects such as the construction of new hospitals, schools, and roads.
