Preity Zinta, a well-known Bollywood actress, recently visited the Kamakhya Devi Temple in Guwahati, Assam. The actress shared a video on her social media handles, in which she can be seen standing in front of the temple and expressing her happiness at finally being able to visit the holy site. The actress was dressed in a traditional looked beautiful as ever. She seemed to be in high spirits as she smiled and waved at the camera, while also taking in the sights and sounds of the temple.
Preity Zinta also revealed in her post that she had stayed up all night in order to make it to the temple early in the morning. Preity Zinta wrote, “Reached Kamakhya Devi Temple early in the morning after staying up all night. It was totally worth it! What a beautiful experience it was to be at this holy place.”
The Kamakhya Devi Temple is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India and is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kamakhya. It is located on the Nilachal Hill in Guwahati and attracts millions of visitors every year, especially during the Ambubachi Mela festival which is held annually in June. The temple is known for its unique architecture and is a popular tourist destination in Assam.
