Preity Zinta took to social media on Friday, March 22, to share a nostalgic throwback video featuring her dance rehearsal with Shah Rukh Khan. Set to the iconic track ‘Tere Liye’ from their film ‘Veer Zaara’, the clip captures the duo practicing their steps for an award show.
In her caption, Preity reminisced about the rehearsal session, revealing how she had been sleep-deprived for two days, feeling like a zombie until SRK’s easy charm and timely jokes lifted her spirits. She also pointed out the similarity between a particular dance move in the rehearsal and a step from their earlier collaboration, ‘Jiya Jale’.
Preity and SRK have collaborated in several memorable films, including ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ and ‘Veer-Zaara’, which have left a lasting impact on audiences worldwide. Their portrayal of unrequited love and friendship in ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, and the poignant tale of cross-border romance and sacrifice in ‘Veer-Zaara’, are particularly cherished.
Additionally, their roles as each other’s on-screen partners in ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ and their shared screen presence in the song ‘Jiya Jale’ from ‘Dil Se’ further solidify their on-screen chemistry.
