President Accepts Resignation of Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, the former Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry has expressed her gratitude to the Hon’ble President of India, Prime Minister, and Home Minister for entrusting her with the opportunity to serve the people of Telangana and Puducherry. She acknowledged the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose guidance she followed during her tenure.

The President of India has officially accepted Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan’s resignation from the position of Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry. Radhakrishnan, the Governor of Jharkhand, to discharge the duties of both offices temporarily, in addition to his existing responsibilities.

This appointment will take effect from the date C. P. Radhakrishnan assumes charge of his office. As the transition occurs, it is expected that the administration will continue to operate seamlessly, fulfilling the needs and aspirations of the people of Telangana and Puducherry.
