on the 28 of March, President Droupadi Murmu graced the celebration of UCO Bank’s 80 years of service in Kolkata and virtually inaugurated 50 new branches of the bank, highlighting the institution’s continued growth and commitment to financial inclusion.
The event, held on March 28, 2023, was attended by senior officials of UCO Bank, including the Managing Director and CEO, Atul Kumar Goel, and members of the bank’s Board of Directors. President Murmu congratulated UCO Bank on its long-standing legacy of providing financial services to the people of India and lauded its efforts in supporting the country’s economic growth.
In her speech, President Murmu emphasized the importance of financial literacy and urged UCO Bank to continue its efforts in promoting financial education among its customers.
