She offered prayers at Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy temple”.

About Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple:-

A prominent avatar of the god Vishnu, Rama, is dedicated to the Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple. East Telangana, India is located on the banks of the Godavari River in the town of Bhadrachalam. The temple, often referred to as Bhadrachalam or Bhadradri, is considered one of the Divya Kshetrams of Godavari and is also revered as Dakshina Ayodhya.

The central icon, believed by some to be self-manifested, features the four-armed Vaikuntha Rama, the form Vishnu appeared in to answer Bhadra’s prayers. The central icon includes Rama’s consort Sita and brother Lakshmana.

The Bhadrachalam temple was allegedly built by the legendary Bhakti saint Kancherla Gopanna – also known as Bhadrachala Ramadasu – in the 17th century, according to some accounts.

Under the last Sultan of Golconda, Abul Hasan Qutb Shah (Tana Shah), Gopana was the revenue officer of Bhadrachalam. The Sita Ramachandraswamy temple was built using funds meant for the Sultanate treasury, for which Gopana was accused and arrested. He composed bhakti songs still sung at this temple during the 12 years he spent in jail.

When Lord Rama appeared with Lakshmana to pay the gold coins Sultan demanded Gopana’s release, the Golconda Sultanate collapsed during Aurangzeb’s expansion of the Mughal control of the Deccan region. In this temple, Gopana continued to compose poems dedicated to Rama.
