President Droupadi Murmu virtually inaugurated various projects in Sikkim.

Sikkim: On the 4th of November evening, President Droupadi Murmu virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation of various central and state government projects at Manan Kendra, Gangtok, and Sikkim.

President Murmu said that these projects in the education, tourism, health, and road infrastructure sectors would provide momentum to development and boost the local economy, expressing pleasure in inaugurating them. Sikkim’s 100 percent COVID-19 vaccination coverage in a short span was also appreciated by the President.

President Droupadi Murmu ended her Sikkim tour by visiting Char Dham, Namchi, and an exhibition of various locally made products. She met with women entrepreneurs, and members of Self Help Groups and also bought some items.
