On March 9th, 2023, Governor of Punjab Shri Banwarilal Purohit and Chief Minister Shri Bhagwant Mann received President Droupadi Murmu on her arrival at Amritsar.
Upon her arrival, the Governor and Chief Minister welcomed the President and presented her with bouquets of flowers as a symbol of their respect and admiration. They then escorted her to the VIP lounge at the airport, where they held a brief meeting to discuss the itinerary of her visit.
