On the 6th of May Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University recently held its 12th convocation ceremony, with President Draupadi Murmu as the chief guest. The President addressed the gathering of students, faculty, and staff, and spoke about the importance of education in building a better future for the country.
In her speech, “President Murmu emphasized the role of education in empowering individuals and creating a more equitable society. She urged students to use their knowledge to serve society and to be agents of change in their communities”.
The President also spoke about the challenges facing higher education in India, including the need for greater access and equity. She stressed the importance of promoting research and innovation in universities and the need for greater collaboration between academia and industry.
“In addition to her address, President Murmu also conferred degrees upon the graduating students, congratulating them on their achievements and wishing them success in their future endeavors”.
The 12th convocation at Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University was a milestone moment for the graduating students, who received their degrees after years of hard work and dedication.
