President Murmu Inaugurates World Homoeopathy Day Symposium

World Homoeopathy Day: President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated a two-day Homoeopathy Symposium in New Delhi on April 10, 2024, to mark World Homoeopathy Day. Addressing the occasion, she highlighted the widespread adoption of Homoeopathy as a simple and accessible treatment method in many countries worldwide.

Acknowledging the efforts of various institutions like the Ministry of AYUSH, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, National Commission for Homoeopathy, and National Institute of Homoeopathy, the President commended their contribution to promoting Homoeopathy in India.

Underlining the significance of research in the 21st century, President Murmu emphasized the theme of the Symposium, ‘Empowering Research, Enhancing Proficiency.’ She stressed that research and proficiency would play pivotal roles in augmenting the acceptance and popularity of Homoeopathy.

President Murmu also highlighted the importance of presenting factual analysis in the scientific community to validate the efficacy of Homoeopathy. Encouraging scientific rigor in authentic medical research would further instill confidence in this medical system among the populace.

Furthermore, she emphasized the role of healthcare professionals in fostering a healthy society, asserting that a healthy nation is built upon the foundation of a healthy society. President Murmu expressed confidence that healthcare professionals would contribute significantly to building a healthy, prosperous, and developed India.
