Today, on July 27, 2023, the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, marked a momentous event by laying the foundation stone for the “Divine Light House” of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya in Dasabatia, Tamando. The occasion was further graced with the launch of the theme of the year, “The Year of Positive Change,” dedicated to conducting seminars and conferences.
Addressing the gathering, the President acknowledged that Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya is more than just an organization; it is a social and spiritual campaign that champions the cause of women’s empowerment.
Emphasizing the importance of holistic development, Smt Droupadi Murmu stressed that both material and spiritual growth are essential for humanity’s progress. She highlighted the transformative power of technology and the inevitability of change in the path of development. While materialistic changes may bring happiness, she asserted that true mental peace can be attained through following the spiritual path. The President expressed her delight in witnessing how Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya is facilitating spiritual growth through meditation and a disciplined way of life.
The President further delved into the challenges posed by negative thoughts that often disturb our minds. She noted that due to a lack of introspection, individuals tend to fall prey to negative thinking, leading to feelings of envy and hatred. In light of these challenges, she emphasized that the most significant task before us today is to transcend negative thoughts and embrace positivity. In this regard, she applauded the efforts of the Brahma Kumaris organization in raising awareness and guiding people toward positive transformation.
The launch of “The Year of Positive Change” by Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya signifies their commitment to fostering a positive mindset, personal growth, and collective betterment. By conducting seminars and conferences around this theme, the organization aims to inspire individuals to embrace positivity and contribute to a harmonious and compassionate society.
