In a noteworthy departure from traditional protocol, President Droupadi Murmu opted to travel via the Delhi Metro, delighting commuters and school children alike with her presence. Moreover, President Murmu inaugurated a shuttle bus service that will ply between Central Secretariat Metro Station (Gate 4) and Amrit Udyan (Gate 35) at intervals of 30 minutes from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. This initiative aims to improve accessibility for visitors to Amrit Udyan, facilitating convenient transportation options for all.
The President’s decision to ride the Delhi Metro and engage with citizens underscores her commitment to fostering inclusive interactions and promoting accessible transportation solutions. By flagging off the shuttle bus service, President Murmu has taken a proactive step towards enhancing the visitor experience at Amrit Udyan, ensuring that individuals from all walks of life can easily access and enjoy the cultural offerings at the venue.
