In his address, the President of India expressed, “A warm welcome to all Heads of Delegations of the G20 nations, Guest countries, and International Organisations participating in the 18th G20 Summit in New Delhi.” This greeting underscored India’s commitment to hosting a successful & productive summit.”
The President of India also shed light on the theme of India’s G20 Presidency: ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – One Earth, One Family, One Future.’ This theme serves as a profound global roadmap for sustainable, inclusive, and human-centric development. It encapsulates the idea that our world is one interconnected family, and the future of our planet depends on collective efforts toward a more equitable and sustainable future.
“Highlighting the significance of this theme, the President remarked, “India’s G20 Presidency theme is a global roadmap for sustainable, inclusive, and human-centric development”.
This theme resonates deeply with the challenges and opportunities that the world faces today, from climate change and economic disparities to public health crises. It emphasizes the importance of cooperation, unity, and shared responsibility in addressing these global issues.
As leaders from G20 nations and international organizations come together at this summit, there is a shared commitment to advancing this vision of ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future.’ The discussions and agreements reached during the summit have the potential to shape a more sustainable and inclusive world for generations to come.
