In a moment of jubilation for Kerala, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan took to social media to extend warm congratulations to cricketer Sanju Samson for etching his name in history as the first Keralite to score a century in One Day Internationals (ODIs). The Chief Minister praised Sanju Samson for his instrumental role in steering the BCCI team to a decisive victory against South Africa in the recent series.
In a statement, CM Pinarayi Vijayan said, “Congratulations to Sanju Samson for becoming the first Keralite to score an ODI century. His pivotal role in steering the BCCI team to victory in the match and series against South Africa is commendable. This remarkable achievement fills us with pride!”
“Sanju Samson’s achievement holds immense significance not only for the cricketer himself but also for the state of Kerala, which takes great pride in producing such talented individuals. The historic century underscores Samson’s skill, determination, and contribution to Indian cricket”.
