In the aftermath of a distressing natural calamity affecting parts of Sikkim, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi extended his support and solidarity to the state. He engaged in a conversation with Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang to gain insights into the situation and to offer assistance where needed.
Prime Minister Modi conveyed his concern and commitment to assisting the affected regions during this challenging period. He assured the Chief Minister that the government would provide all possible support to mitigate the impact of the calamity and address the associated challenges.
In a message shared on X, Prime Minister Modi said, “Spoke to Sikkim CM Shri @PSTamangGolay and took stock of the situation in the wake of the unfortunate natural calamity in parts of the state. Promised to provide every available form of assistance to address the situation. I pray for the safety & well-being of all those affected.”
“The Prime Minister’s words reflect his empathy and dedication to the welfare of the people of Sikkim. As the region grapples with the aftermath of the natural calamity, the assurance of support from the highest office in the country provides hope and reassurance to those affected”.
In these trying times, the nation stands united in extending its thoughts and prayers to the affected individuals and communities, and in the resolve to provide the necessary support for their safety and well-being.
