An Indian actor and producer, Prosenjit Chatterjee was born on 30 September 1962. He is one of the leading actors in modern Bengali cinema and is widely regarded. He works mostly in Bengali cinema.
Biswajit Chatterjee is a veteran Bollywood actor, and he has a son. He won the Bengal Film Journalists’ Association – Most Outstanding Work of the Year Award for his acting debut as a child actor in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Chotto Jigyasa. He appeared in other films as a child actor following this. Bimal Roy’s Duti Pata gave him his first leading role.
Personal life:
Prosenjit, who is married to actress Arpita Pal, lives in Kolkata with their son Trishanjit. He has been married to Debashree Roy and Aparna Guhathakurta previously. Prerona Chatterjee is the daughter of Prosenjit and Aparna. In 2015, Prosenjit bought a cricket team in the Bengal Celebrity League named the Purulia Panthers.
