In a significant development aimed at bolstering the Congress party’s prospects in Tripura, Rahul Gandhi, the former President of the Indian National Congress, met with the Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) In-Charge, Dr. Ajoy Kumar, Tripura PCC President Asish Kumar Saha, and senior leaders of Tripura Congress in New Delhi.
The meeting, held at a crucial juncture ahead of the upcoming state elections, focused on strategizing and charting a roadmap for the party’s growth and resurgence in Tripura. Rahul Gandhi, known for his active involvement in shaping the party’s strategies, engaged in detailed discussions with the Tripura Congress leaders to understand the ground realities and challenges faced by the party in the state.
The presence of Dr. Ajoy Kumar, a seasoned politician with extensive experience, added weight to the deliberations. Dr. Kumar, who assumed the responsibility of Tripura PCC In-Charge, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table, making him an instrumental figure in strengthening the party’s organizational structure and rejuvenating its grassroots presence.
During the meeting, Rahul Gandhi expressed his unwavering commitment to the people of Tripura and his determination to build a formidable Congress party in the state.
