The Minister of Defense, Shri Rajnath Singh, left New Delhi today (January 5th, 2023) for a two-day visit to the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC). The Raksha Mantri will review the operational preparedness of the Command and infrastructure development at the operational areas of the Command and outlying units during the visit.
The Defense Minister will also visit ANC units at Campbell Bay, Karnik, and Diglipur where he will interact with the soldiers.
Today, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is in Port Blair on a two-day visit to Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Will visit Andaman and Nicobar Kan HQ and other places to interact with troops stationed in and around the islands
