Aanand L. Rai is directing a 2022 Indian Hindi-language family comedy-drama film called Raksha Bandhan (The Bond of Protection). Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon wrote the film, which stars Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Smrithi Srikanth, and Deepika Khanna. Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films are producing the film.The film will be theatrically released on 11 August 2022, coinciding with Laal Singh Chaddha and Independence Day.
