The 69th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2024, in partnership with Gujarat Tourism, concluded with a grand awards ceremony in GIFT City on January 28. This two-day cinematic extravaganza witnessed the gathering of Bollywood’s elite, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sara Ali Khan, Kartik Aryan, and Varun Dhawan. The event was a showcase of high fashion, electrifying performances, heartfelt speeches, and unforgettable moments that captivated audiences and went viral on social media.
Ranbir and Alia Steal the Show with ‘Jamal Kudu’ Dance
One of the highlights of the evening was Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s impromptu dance to the viral ‘Jamal Kudu’ track from their film ‘Animal’. In a delightful surprise, Ranbir descended from the stage during his performance to join Alia, where they balanced glasses on their heads and shared a kiss, much to the audience’s delight.
Award Winners: Celebrating Excellence in Hindi Cinema
The awards night saw Ranbir Kapoor bagging the Best Actor award for his outstanding performance in ‘Animal’, while Alia Bhatt was honored with the Best Actress in a Lead Role award for her role in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. The joyous occasion was shared on social media by Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, while Alia Bhatt expressed her happiness with fans through a series of Instagram posts.
