Republic Day Celebrations ‘Aadi Shaurya Parv-Parakram Ka’ Will Be Organized On 23 And 24 January.

New Delhi: To mark the 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose (celebrated as Parakram Diwas), a Military Tattoo & Tribal Dance Festival ‘Aadi Shaurya – Parv Parakram Ka’ will be held as part of the Republic Day Celebrations 2023 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi on January 23 & 24, 2023.

The festival, lasting two days, will exhibit the military strength of the Armed Forces and the cultural beauty of India’s ethnic tribes. You can get free tickets through www.bookmyshow.com.

The program comprises an hour of traditional dance performances (Khukhri Dance, Gatka, Mallakhamb, Kalaripaytu, Thangta) by tribal artists from across the country and a Military Tattoo (Paramotor Gliding, Hot Air Balloon, Horse Show, Air Warrior Drill, Navy Band). A performance by famous singer Shri Kailash Kher is included in the grand finale.

The aim of the festival is to remember the sacrifices of the country’s Bravehearts, celebrate the rich cultural heritage which makes India so unique and diverse, and unite the people of India.

The objective is to celebrate the bravery of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose together; embrace the true spirit of India and renew the commitment to building a strong and prosperous ‘New India’. The event is being jointly organized by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, with the Indian Coast Guard being the coordinating agency.
