Bollywood actress Richa Chadha, known for her versatility across genres, has recently delighted fans by sharing a playful video on Instagram. Currently gearing up for the release of her period drama series “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” Chadha took a moment to showcase her fun side while on set.
In the video, Chadha can be seen recreating the iconic scene from the song “Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan” from the film “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.” Portraying the role of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s character, Chadha’s spot dada joins her to play Salman Khan’s part. The duo brings the scene to life with remarkable precision, capturing the essence of the original moment.
Chadha’s performance is marked by her attention to detail, from her lip-biting to her sensual eye contact with her co-actor. The actress humorously captioned the clip, “Tell me you’re a Bhansali fan without telling me you’re a Bhansali fan,” acknowledging the directorial prowess of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who helmed “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.”
Throughout her career, Richa Chadha has showcased her talent across various genres, from her portrayal of complex characters in the black comedy crime film “Gangs of Wasseypur” to her comedic chops in the “Fukrey” franchise. Despite not having the opportunity to romance Salman Khan on screen in the iconic movie, Chadha’s playful recreation of the beloved scene demonstrates her ability to infuse her own charm into classic moments from Hindi cinema.
