Director Karan Johar’s latest offering, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, has been receiving positive feedback from both audiences and critics. The romantic comedy family drama, featuring a stellar cast including Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi, started its theatrical journey with an opening collection of Rs 11.10 crores on Friday.
Despite a relatively modest start for a film of this scale, the movie picked up steam over the weekend. It garnered Rs 16.05 crore on Saturday and a promising Rs 18.75 crore on Sunday, adding to its overall box-office success.
Continuing its impressive run, the film managed to hold its ground on Monday, accumulating Rs 7.02 crores on the first weekday. This brings the total collection of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani to an impressive Rs 52.92 crores in just four days.
With its engaging storyline and strong performances, the movie has struck a chord with the audience, resulting in positive word of mouth. The film’s star-studded ensemble has also contributed to its appeal and success at the box office.
As the film continues its theatrical run, it has a clear path until August 11, when Gadar 2 is scheduled for release. With such a strong start and a steady performance, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ seems poised to maintain its successful box office journey in the coming days.
