South Indian cinema’s star Prabhas made waves with his recent film ‘Salaar’, which debuted in theaters last December. Titled ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’, this 2023 Telugu-language epic action film is penned and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. The film boasts a star-studded cast headlined by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Set in the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar, ‘Salaar’ explores the compelling narrative of friendship and loyalty. The plot revolves around the lives of Deva (played by Prabhas), a tribesman, and Varadha (portrayed by Prithviraj), the prince of Khansaar. Their unique bond and the ensuing drama form the crux of this high-octane action film.
