Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to unveil the Box Office Collection figures for Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif’s latest film, ‘Tiger 3.’ Despite the conventional trend of no major Hindi releases on Diwali Day due to festivities and Laxmi Puja, ‘Tiger 3’ has emerged as a game-changer, shattering all previous records for Diwali Day.
In an unprecedented feat, ‘Tiger 3’ not only claims the title of the highest opener on Diwali Day but also marks Salman Khan’s biggest opener ever, amassing an impressive ₹43 crore on its opening day in India, for the Hindi version alone.
The Tamil and Telugu versions of ‘Tiger 3’ also contributed significantly to its success, raking in ₹1.50 crore.
A glance at the ‘Tiger’ franchise’s opening day business reveals the film’s escalating popularity:
- ‘Ek Tha Tiger’: ₹32.93 crore
- ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’: ₹34.10 crore
- ‘Tiger 3’: ₹43 crore
These figures showcase the remarkable growth of the ‘Tiger’ franchise, with ‘Tiger 3’ setting a new benchmark for opening-day collections.
