Satish Chandra Kaushik, born on April 13th, 1956, is an Indian actor, director, producer, comedian, and screenwriter.
Early life:
Satish was born in Mahendragarh, Haryana on 13 April 1956. He graduated from Delhi’s Kirori Mal College in 1972. He is an alumnus of the National School of Drama and the Film and Television Institute of India.
Personal life:
He has been married to Shashi Kaushik since 1985. He lost his son, Shanu Kaushik, in 1996 when he was just two years old. His daughter Vanshika was born through a surrogate mother in 2012.
The real estate company Parsavnath developers was a partner with Kaushik in the Chandigarh Film City project. They bought 30 acres (12 ha) in Sarangpur Village, Chandigarh for cheap prices. After the foul play was exposed by the media, the real estate company was forced to give up this multi-million project.
