An Indian actor, Satish Shah, was born on 25 June 1951. Some of his most memorable comic roles were in films like ”Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro” (1983), ”Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi” (1984), ”Sarabhai vs Sarabhai” (2004), ”Main Hoon Na” (2004), ”Kal Ho Naa Ho’ (2003), ”Fanaa” (2006) and ”Om Shanti Om” (2007). He co-judged Comedy Circus with Archana Puran Singh in 2008. He was also appointed as a member of the Film and Television Institute of India society in 2015.

Satish Shah is a Gujarati from Mandvi, a city in the Kutch region. He first studied at Xavier’s College and later joined the Film and Television Institute of India. Satish Shah has been married to designer Madhu Shah since 1982.

In 2020, Shah was diagnosed with COVID-19 during the pandemic. He was discharged from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on 28 July after making a full recovery from being admitted on 20 July.
