The Central Water Commission (CWC) has issued a concerning flood forecast for the Ganga River at Azmabad in Bhagalpur district, Bihar. The situation has been labeled as severe as the river’s water level continues to rise significantly, surpassing its danger level.
As per the latest updates from the CWC, the Ganga River at Azmabad is currently flowing at a height of 30.8 meters. This measurement is 0.26 meters above its designated danger level, which stands at 30.54 meters. The rising trend of the water level adds to the critical nature of the situation.
