The Central Water Commission (CWC) has issued an official flood forecast for Bihar’s Arwal district, sounding the alarm as the Punpun River remains in a severe situation. As of the latest update, the river’s water level at Kinjer is recorded at 65.33 meters, marking a 0.33-meter increase above its danger level, which is set at 65.0 meters.
