Bihar is currently facing a significant flood risk as the Central Water Commission issues an official flood forecast for River Punpun in Patna district. The situation is dire, with the river flowing at a level of 51.58 meters, well above its Danger Level of 50.6 meters.
The steady rise in the river’s water level is a cause for concern, indicating the severity of the flood situation in the region. The Central Water Commission’s flood forecast serves as a crucial warning for local authorities and residents to take immediate precautions and prepare for potential flooding.
“In the face of such circumstances, it is essential for residents in the affected areas to stay informed about the latest updates and advisories issued by relevant authorities.
