The Bollywood movie “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” experienced a significant surge in box office earnings on Valentine’s Day. After making ₹4.05 crore on the previous day, the futuristic romantic comedy raked in ₹7.21 crore.
Starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, the film narrates a love story between a young man and a robot. Directed by debutant directors Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” hit theaters on February 9.
The movie saw a remarkable performance on Day 6, propelling its first-week collection to approximately ₹47 crore nett.
Here’s the day-wise breakdown of its earnings:
- Day 1 – ₹7.02 crore
- Day 2 – ₹10.50 crore
- Day 3 – ₹11.59 crore
- Day 4 – ₹3.75 crore
- Day 5 – ₹4.05 crore
- Day 6 – ₹7.21 crore
Total – ₹44.12 crore nett
The Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer will soon face competition from Vidyut Jammwal’s “Crakk – Jeetegaa… Toh Jiyegaa” and Yami Gautam’s “Article 370,” both set to release on February 23. With the anticipated Valentine’s Day boost, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” is expected to reach the break-even point in the near future.
