“Shaitaan,” the 2024 Indian Hindi-language supernatural horror film, directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Devgn Films, Jio Studios, and Panorama Studios, continues its triumphant streak for the third consecutive week, emerging as a super hit despite competition.
Starring Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala, and Anngad Raaj, it marks Jyothika’s second Hindi film after her debut in 1998. The music by Amit Trivedi, along with cinematography by Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti and editing by Sandeep Francis, enhances the eerie ambiance.
Released theatrically on 8th March 2024, coinciding with Maha Shivaratri, “Shaitaan” has maintained a steady box office performance. In its third week, it garnered impressive earnings: Fri 2.52 cr, Sat 4.57 cr, Sun 4.11 cr, Mon 3.04 cr, Tue 2.25 cr, Wed 1.85 cr, Thu 1.70 cr, with a cumulative total of ₹137.72 cr in India.
