The Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, and Jyotika starrer “Shaitaan” has been generating significant buzz since its release. On its second day, the film witnessed a remarkable surge in collections, following a strong start bolstered by Maha Shivratri. Earning ₹15.21 crore on Friday and ₹19.18 crore on Saturday, the film’s total stands at ₹34.39 crore.
What’s noteworthy is “Shaitaan’s” success beyond metropolitan areas, surprising skeptics who predicted challenges in mass markets due to its urban appeal. As the film gears up for its third day, expectations are high for it to achieve a weekend total of around ₹56 crore, an excellent feat considering its moderate production costs.
The film’s performance indicates its wide appeal, resonating with audiences across various demographics. This success underscores the power of strong content and effective marketing strategies. With its growing popularity and positive word-of-mouth, “Shaitaan” is poised to continue its winning streak at the box office.
