The world of entertainment has seen a major shift in recent years, with the advent of streaming platforms and the increasing popularity of web series. One such web series that has caught the attention of audiences is “Gulmohar“, which marks the OTT debut of Bollywood veteran Sharmila Tagore. The web series also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Amol Palekar, and Simran, making it an ensemble cast worth watching.
Hindi cinema actress Sharmila Tagore has returned to the acting world after almost 13 years. The upcoming film titled “Gulmohar” will be streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar. This is Sharmila Tagore’s first film to appear on OTT.
”Gulmohar” will see Sharmila Tagore along with capable actors like Amol Palekar and Manoj Bajpayee in key roles. “Gulmohar” will be streamed on the platform on March 3. The first look of the movie ”Gulmohar” has been released. Gulmohar is a family drama, which depicts the story of the Batra family.
Key roles are also played by Suraj Sharma and Simran, known for their work in “Life of Pi”. Arpita Mukherjee has co-written the film with Director Rahul Chittela. Manoj Bajpayee stated that he had never taken on a role such as the one regarding his character. Viewers of ”Gulmohar” will be able to experience love, care, and ease. The movie delves into the connections between people in relationships. Rahul Chittela, the director, expressed hope that the audience would like the film.
