After impressing audiences with her singing debut in ‘Dil Kya Irada Tera’ from ‘Patna Shuklla’, Shehnaaz Gill has released another single titled ‘Dhup Lagdi’ alongside actor Sunny Singh. She took to Instagram to share the full song video, inviting fans to experience the essence of true love in every note.
A Tale of Resilience: ‘Dhup Lagdi’
The song narrates the story of a small village hit by floods, compelling its farmers to seek employment elsewhere. It portrays the emotional farewell bid by the village women to their husbands and fathers as they embark on a journey for livelihood. When Sunny Singh’s character leaves the countryside, Shehnaaz Gill’s character feels a deep emotional tug.
Seeking Blessings at Siddhivinayak Temple
Ahead of the song’s release, Shehnaaz Gill visited the Siddhivinayak Temple on April 8 to seek blessings. She looked elegant in a white salwar kameez paired with an orange dupatta. Her visit to the temple was marked by reverence and anticipation for the success of her new single.
Devotion to Lord Ganesha
On Monday, Shehnaaz Gill shared moments from her visit to the Siddhivinayak Temple on Instagram. In the picture, she is seen holding a photograph of Lord Ganesha, with an orange and red dupatta adorning her head and an orange tika on her forehead. She captioned the post with a heartfelt “Ganpati Bappa Moryaa,” expressing her reverence for Lord Ganesha.
