Making her directorial debut with ‘Sukhi’ is Sonal Joshi. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Shikha Sharma. The ensemble cast includes Shilpa Shetty, Kusha Kapila, Dilnaz Irani, Pavleen Gujral, Chaitanya Chowdhary, and Amit Sadh, each contributing to the narrative in significant ways.
The Essence of ‘Sukhi’
‘Sukhi’ narrates a heartwarming tale centered around Sukhpreet Kalra, also known as ‘Sukhi,’ a 38-year-old Punjabi housewife. The character embarks on a journey of self-discovery when she travels to Delhi for her school reunion after two decades. Through a series of experiences, she begins to see herself not just as a mother and a wife but as an individual. The film beautifully captures the essence of every woman who has lost sight of her own identity.
