For the Ganpati immersion, Shilpa Shetty was joined by her entire family. In the pictures and videos that surfaced from the occasion, Shilpa looked elegant in a traditional Marathi saree. Interestingly, her upcoming film’s name, ‘Sukhi,’ was visible on her blouse.
Sharing a video of the Ganpati Visarjan, Shilpa Shetty wrote, “Saying goodbye to our Gannu Raja is always the hardest, but we wait for him to come back next year with even more love, peace, blessings, positivity, and happiness.” In the video, Shilpa is shown performing aarti with the family before bidding farewell to Ganpati.
Raj Kundra, Shilpa’s husband, was also spotted dancing during the immersion celebrations, although his back faced the camera as he hid under a hoodie. Shilpa was seen dancing exuberantly with Akanksha Malhotra in the video, adding to the festive spirit.
Shilpa will be seen in ‘Sukhee’
On the work front, Shilpa Shetty is gearing up for the release of ‘Sukhee,’ directed by Sonal Joshi, scheduled to hit theaters on September 22. The film is a heartwarming tale centered around the life of Sukhpreet ‘Sukhi’ Kalra, a 38-year-old Punjabi housewife.
