Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, recently expressed his happiness on the Government’s decision to grant Geographical Indication (GI) tagging to the stone craft of Bhedaghat in Jabalpur. Chouhan highlighted the unique craftsmanship and fine carvings of this art, which has its own distinct identity in the world. He also emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting this art form and making it more accessible to the people, which will help the artists of the region to become stronger and prosperous.
