On the 9th of September, a special visit was organized for the spouses of visiting G20 leaders to the ICAR Indian Agriculture Research Institute Campus, PUSA. This visit aimed to provide a glimpse into India’s achievements in agriculture and agri-tech.
During their visit, the spouses had the opportunity to explore an exhibition that highlighted India’s prowess in agri-tech and the agriculture value chain. Notably, the exhibition also featured an array of environment-friendly millet products, underscoring India’s commitment to sustainable farming practices.
Additionally, the G20 Leaders’ spouses had the chance to witness the grandeur of India’s contemporary art scene. Tomorrow’s itinerary included a visit to the prestigious National Gallery of Modern Art (@ngma_delhi) and Jaipur House, where a specially curated art exhibition showcased the rich diversity of contemporary Indian art in its various captivating forms.
These engaging experiences not only celebrated India’s agricultural achievements but also offered a glimpse into the vibrant and evolving cultural landscape of the country. The visit provided a unique opportunity for the G20 Leaders’ spouses to connect with India’s rich heritage and modern artistic expressions, fostering cultural exchange and appreciation.
