Sonakshi Sinha is going to make her OTT debut with Amazon Prime Video’s web series ‘Dahaad’. This series will be streamed on the platform this year. “Dahaad” will premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival. It is the first Indian web series to premiere at this film festival.
‘Dahaad’, an eight-episode crime drama series, stars Sonakshi Sinha. In this, Sonakshi Sinha is seen in the role of a policewoman. She is portraying the character of Inspector Anjali Bhati. The series shows the story of a small town in Rajasthan.
Vijay Verma and Gulshan Devaiah will also be seen in important roles in this web series. Apart from this, Dahad is directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, while produced by Excel Media & Entertainment and Tiger Baby.
Sonakshi Sinha’s last released film was “Double XL”. Huma Qureshi was seen with him in this film. Sonakshi’s career on OTT started with the film “Bhuj: The Pride of India”. The series “Bhuj: The Pride of India” was released on Disney Plus Hotstar. Ajay Devgan was also seen with her in this film.
